Chapter 53: Mr. Chi, Can I Kiss You Now?
Ye Ran glanced at the prompt, and his eyes widened even further.
This is even more fatal than what Qiao Yubai said just now.

“Do you need help, Young Master Ye?” Chi Yuheng’s voice was lower than usual, carrying an undetectable hint of raspiness. His breath brushed lightly against Ye Ran’s temple.
Only then did Ye Ran realize, belatedly, that he had been pulled by Chi Yuheng and hadn’t sat steadily. Now, he was lying across Chi Yuheng’s lap.
He had to admit that Chi Yuheng’s legs made for a quite comfortable pillow, but…
Now was not the time to talk about comfort.
Ye Ran struggled to sit up. His abs worked hard for a long while, but Chi Yuheng’s hand pressed lightly against his waist, and all the fitness training he had done recently went to waste. He lay flat obediently.
“Chi Yuheng!”
Ye Ran called him by his full name. Chi Yuheng was already used to hearing it. He didn’t release the hand on his waist; instead, his fingertips pressed down slightly.
“Can you find a second person among the others who is willing to do the Dare with you?” Chi Yuheng asked softly.

Chi Yuheng raised an eyebrow, a smile at the corner of his lips. “Right now, only I am willing. So, does Young Master Ye plan to give up, or are you just a sore loser?”
“A sore loser?” Ye Ran was about to explode. “How could I be a sore loser? It’s just a kiss, it’s not a big deal.”
He tilted his head up, intending to peck those thin lips like a chick pecking grain, but Chi Yuheng leaned his body back and successfully dodged it.
Ye Ran was dumbfounded. Looking at the close-at-hand but untouched Chi Yuheng, his mind went blank for a moment.
“You said you were willing, but when I try to kiss you, you dodge. Chi Yuheng, are you playing me?!”
Chi Yuheng let out a soft laugh. “I remember the prompt was a ten-second kiss. If you kiss me like you just tried to, then I’ll have to reconsider.”
Ye Ran wanted to curse.
This guy is playing too much by the rules.
Ye Ran’s lip twitched. He forced a smile that didn’t reach his eyes and squeezed a few words through his teeth, “You’re certainly being serious about this.”
Chi Yuheng smiled and nodded. “Mm. Following the game rules.”
Ye Ran: “…”
Fine, follow the game rules.
Ye Ran took a deep breath and made his preparations.
He bared his teeth in a smile toward Chi Yuheng. “May I ask, Mr. Chi, can I kiss you now?”
Chi Yuheng nodded.
In the next second, Ye Ran used a bit of strength with both hands to hook around Chi Yuheng’s neck, pulling the man closer to him.
His nose hit Chi Yuheng’s nose first, with a bit of reckless urgency, but the moment he touched the other’s warmth, his movements slowed down.
