Chapter 57: Standing Punishment
In the center of the hotel’s basement lobby, the air conditioning was blowing cold air continuously. Even the low temperature failed to clear Chi Youchu’s muddled brain even slightly.
Xu Huijiang was sweating profusely from exhaustion, pulling one person on the left and dragging another on the right.
The night-shift hotel staff stood far away, not daring to step forward. It wasn’t that they didn’t want to help Xu Huijiang, but the scene over there was truly a bit terrifying.
“Why haven’t you been drunk under the table by me yet?”
“Because I have a crutch and you don’t.”
Pei Si was swaying, unable to stand steadily. He relied entirely on Xu Huijiang to act as a human crutch to support him. Even in this state, he didn’t forget to grumble, “I’m not drinking with you anymore.”

Chi Youchu squinted his eyes and looked around, his gaze finally settling on the fish swimming outside the glass curtain wall.

Chi Youchu reached out and tapped his finger against the glass wall, his fingertip following the movement of the fish. “Look, this fish looks delicious. Let’s eat it. Wait for me to smash this fish tank open.”

If these two ancestors want my life, they can just say it.
Just as Chi Youchu was about to make a move, Pei Si suddenly cupped his face. The two drunks stared at each other with blurred eyes.
“That fish is a kissing fish. You can’t eat it.”

Chi Youchu’s eyes were shrouded in a misty haze of intoxication, and even his breath carried a sweet, cloying scent of alcohol. He actually tilted his chin up obediently, showing no sign of resistance.
Xu Huijiang’s eyes widened to an extreme.
These two ancestors—one with drifting eyes from being drunk, the other acting crazy and reckless—their noses were about to brush against each other. In half a second, that tiny, blurred distance would vanish completely.
Logically speaking, whether they wanted to kiss or not was their personal business, but neither of them was sober right now and had no idea what they were doing.
In the dead of night, in a public place—letting them kiss just like that…
If he stopped them, would he be ruining their good moment? But if he didn’t, would they blame him for not stopping them when they woke up?

Seeing Ye Ran arrive, Xu Huijiang finally breathed a sigh of relief. Reinforcements had finally arrived.
Once they reached them, Ye Ran manually turned the wheelchair wheels to squeeze himself between the two drunks. At the same time, he didn’t forget to call out to Xu Huijiang, “What are you standing there for? Pull the two of them apart!”
Xu Huijiang briefly returned to life, said “Okay,” and rushed forward to pull.
Chi Youchu pouted, displeased. “Don’t stop me, I want to see how fish kiss…”
Xu Huijiang was getting a headache from their grinding. He pulled while coaxing them, “Go back to the room. Go back to the room to kiss, okay? You can’t do it here.”
“Holy shit! Chi Youchu, what did you eat growing up? You look thin normally, but why are you harder to pin down than a New Year’s pig when you’re drunk…”
Xu Huijiang and Chi Yuheng each pulled one person, finally separating them.
Fortunately, when Chi Youchu and Pei Si were together, they were like two powerful magnets attracting each other toward the center. Once separated, the attraction vanished, and they stopped struggling so much.
The nearly exhausted Xu Huijiang finally caught his breath.
Ye Ran, sitting in his wheelchair, gave orders, “Send them back to their own rooms.”
“No way,” Xu Huijiang spoke up in protest.
“When we came back from the bar, I already sent them to their respective rooms. Later, I don’t know how Brother Si found Chi Youchu’s room. He kept banging on the door, and since I hadn’t left yet, I opened the door. Then it turned into this.”
Xu Huijiang’s point was that they absolutely could not let Pei Si find the door again.
Pei Si and Chi Youchu lived on the same floor, so it was relatively easy for him to find him.
Ye Ran thought for a moment. “Carry the little one to my room. I live on the second floor; even if they go out, they won’t find it easily.”

Finally, Chi Yuheng spoke up. “Throw him out.”
Ye Ran: “…”
Xu Huijiang: “…”
Doubting if those words really came from Chi Yuheng’s mouth, Xu Huijiang asked, “Throw him where?”
Chi Yuheng: “The trash can outside the hotel.”
Ye Ran took a few seconds to react. “Isn’t Pei Si your brother…”
Chi Yuheng: “If he weren’t my brother, I would have thrown him into the sea.”
He treated Pei Si like a brother, but his brother wanted to kiss his younger brother.
CEO Chi could not tolerate this.
Ye Ran: “…”
Chi Yuheng’s few sentences left the two of them slightly shocked.
The Big Boss was indeed a ruthless man; he was not someone to be offended.
Seeing that Pei Si’s little nest for tonight was about to be the trash can outside the hotel, the hotel lobby manager ran over. “CEO Chi, I’m sorry. It wasn’t that we didn’t want to move the Second Young Master back to his room earlier, it’s just…”

He understood. If word got out that the Second Young Master of the Chi family tried to kiss a man while drunk, it would become a laughingstock for outsiders and would have a bad impact on the Chi family.
Chi Yuheng gave an “En,” and after finishing his instructions, he pushed Ye Ran back toward their room.
Once Chi Youchu and Pei Si settled down, they became like piles of mud—even heavier.
The hotel staff rushed to lend a hand, carrying Chi Youchu to Ye Ran’s room, while Pei Si was sent back to his own room.
