Chapter 3: You Have to Serve Me Well First
After some inquiries, he found out that before him, there was a boy Zhou Sijin had kept by his side for five years.
But for some reason, when the boy turned eighteen, Zhou Sijin sent him abroad.
No one knew the nature of their relationship; the boy had suddenly appeared by Zhou Sijin’s side.
Rumor had it that Zhou Sijin spoiled him immensely.
No matter what mistake the boy made, Zhou Sijin would always clean up after him without limits.
Some said that boy was Zhou Sijin’s White Moonlight.
It was said that Zhou Sijin was afraid he wouldn’t be able to resist touching him, so he had no choice but to send him abroad.
Others took great pleasure in discussing Zhou Sijin’s private life.
But Chen Wei, hearing this news, couldn’t feel happy at all.
Before he planned to sleep with Zhou Sijin, he had investigated the man’s private life and knew he didn’t have a habit of sleeping around.
But if it was truly as others said, then what was Zhou Sijin’s purpose for going to Singapore this time?
Sent abroad at eighteen—after three years, that boy should be twenty-one this year, right?
If Zhou Sijin really touched him…
Chen Wei took a deep breath. In that short amount of time, he had already made a thousand plans in his heart.
He propped himself up, letting Zhou Sijin hold him, and stared at the ceiling in silence.
Until Zhou Sijin slowly woke up.
Seeing Chen Wei’s distracted look, he asked, “What are you thinking about?”
Hearing his voice, Chen Wei slowly turned his head.
The newly awakened Zhou Sijin had shed his cold, distant demeanor, his eyes filled with a drowsy laziness.
The moment he saw this face, the gloom that had just risen in Chen Wei’s heart dissipated somewhat.
He suddenly remembered how his fans had comforted him yesterday: “A-Wei will definitely have a big male lead drama of your own in the future.”
Without directly answering Zhou Sijin’s question, Chen Wei looked back at him and called his name softly:
“Zhou Sijin.”
“Hmm?” Zhou Sijin responded lazily. He still wore that casual expression, but his palm had already begun to move restlessly against Chen Wei’s waist.
Reaching out to press down on the hand making trouble on his body, Chen Wei met Zhou Sijin’s confused gaze.
Looking at him, Chen Wei’s expression and tone carried a seriousness that had never been there before. He said:
“I want to act in a drama that belongs to me.”
After following Zhou Sijin for three years, this was the first time Chen Wei had ever made such a request.
He kept his eyes fixed on Zhou Sijin’s, wanting to see his reaction to those words.
Zhou Sijin was first taken aback, and once he realized what Chen Wei meant, he couldn’t help but burst out laughing on the spot.
Chen Wei didn’t know what he was laughing at and subconsciously thought Zhou Sijin was mocking his overestimation of his own abilities.
He pursed his lips and didn’t speak further, removing Zhou Sijin’s hand from his body and tossing aside the blanket to get out of bed.
Zhou Sijin reached out in time to grab him.
In the blink of an eye, he was once again pinned beneath Zhou Sijin.
Chen Wei didn’t think there was anything funny about it.
Finding a sugar daddy or a backer in the entertainment industry was perfectly normal.
He had followed Zhou Sijin for three years without status or title, always behaving himself and never asking for anything.
Since he had decided to leave in the future, he should get something from Zhou Sijin before he went.
A drama of his own wasn’t a difficult task for Zhou Sijin.
Whether he wanted to give it or not was entirely up to his whim.
With that thought, Chen Wei met Zhou Sijin’s gaze even more calmly.
He still bore the marks Zhou Sijin had left on him the night before.
After a second, he heard Zhou Sijin ask him, “Did the sun rise from the west today?”
Chen Wei didn’t understand what he meant.
Zhou Sijin continued, “Even you are making requests of me?”
Based on Chen Wei’s years of experience with Zhou Sijin, those words sounded more like a reminder.
A reminder to know his place and not overstep.
Knowing that Zhou Sijin never liked people who approached him with an agenda.
Chen Wei knew that once he said those words, the image he had carefully maintained for so long had likely crumbled completely.
Chen Wei’s heart sank. He was thinking of a way to smooth things over before Zhou Sijin got truly angry.
But before he could speak, his shoulder was suddenly bitten.
Chen Wei glanced sideways.
Zhou Sijin bit him while saying, “Director Zhang from Heli has an S+ production movie recently. It’s a serious drama intended to sweep next year’s Golden Horse Awards.”
Having said that, he looked up at Chen Wei and asked, “Do you want to act in it?”
Chen Wei’s eyes brightened significantly at Zhou Sijin’s words.
“Yes.” He nodded very seriously and with force.
Ever since Chen Wei entered the circle, he had always wanted to act in a respectable, serious drama.
However, because of his appearance and status, every script handed to him was an idol drama that couldn’t escape the “comfort zone.”
To be honest, Chen Wei was a bit tired.
He was afraid that if he kept acting in them, his acting skills would be permanently molded by idol dramas.
If he wanted to transition in the future, it would only be more difficult.
Now that there was an opportunity, Chen Wei wanted to seize it.
His requirements weren’t high; for a drama by Heli’s Director Zhang, even if he could only play an insignificant supporting role, it would be excellent.
Looking at Chen Wei’s eager expression, hesitation rarely appeared on Zhou Sijin’s usually decisive face.
“Aren’t you afraid?” he asked.
“Afraid of what?” Chen Wei countered.
Zhou Sijin said, “Aren’t you afraid people will say you used the back door?”
Chen Wei: “…”
He said with an air of indifference, “Whatever. It’s not like it’s the first time they’ve said it.”
Chen Wei had followed Zhou Sijin shortly after his debut.
Although he hadn’t gone looking for resources, Zhou Sijin would occasionally toss him some when he was happy.
Sometimes rumors about him would trend online.
Because Zhou Sijin didn’t want to go public with their relationship, very few people in the circle knew he was Zhou Sijin’s man.
Therefore, up until now, there were only rumors online, but no one knew who the financier behind him actually was.
Moreover, Zhou Sijin was a figure from the financial news.
He never showed his face in the entertainment world, so people wouldn’t even think to link the financier behind him to Zhou Sijin.
Only…
Zhou Sijin was a businessman; no matter what he did, he couldn’t shed his businessman nature.
If he gave Chen Wei a benefit, he naturally had to get something else back from him.
With a flip, the two positions were successfully reversed.
Chen Wei sat on top of him.
A smile curled on Zhou Sijin’s lips.
He said, “You can act in the drama, but…”
His tone shifted, and the smile on his lips began to turn mischievous:
“You have to serve me well first.”
