Chapter 8: He Hasn’t Tried the Office Yet
The three characters “Zhou Fei’en” on the ID card caught Chen Wei’s attention.
Chen Wei was surprised. “Your surname is also Zhou?”
“Hmm?” Finn was confused. “Is there a problem?”
Chen Wei shook his head. “It’s just that I happen to have a friend whose surname is also Zhou.”
“Is that so? What a coincidence,” Finn smiled.
Chen Wei said, “So, you’re called Fei’en not because your English name is Finn, but because your name was originally Fei’en?”
Finn was kept laughing by Chen Wei’s cute remark:
“My mommy chose it. She said that way I could have a Chinese name and an English name at the same time.”
Listening to Finn’s explanation, Chen Wei instinctively felt that Finn’s parents must also be a pair of interesting people like Finn.
Finn seemed to see through his thoughts. “If there’s a chance, I’ll take you to meet my mommy. She’ll definitely like you as much as I do.”
Influenced by his mother, Finn had a bit of foreign passion and openness in his bones.

“Since I’m inviting you to be my exclusive model, I think I still need to apply to the higher-ups to let you be A-L’s global spokesperson.”
Global spokesperson?
Chen Wei was stunned!
The A-L brand had only been established for half a year and had quickly opened up the domestic light luxury market.
It was bound to expand abroad in the future.

Chen Wei was wondering: could the person “above” that Finn mentioned be Zhou Sijin?

Chen Wei imagined if he asked Zhou Sijin for this global spokesperson slot, would Zhou Sijin actually give it to him?
In the end, Chen Wei smiled.
How had he even started to have expectations of Zhou Sijin?

Finn returned very quickly.

“The higher-ups agreed to let you be A-L’s global spokesperson!”

Chen Wei still remembered the assistant’s words about a high-level executive wanting to see him. He said goodbye to Han Chi and went outside.
Following behind the assistant, Chen Wei probed indirectly, wanting to know exactly who wanted to see him.
The assistant was mysterious; although he revealed some things, he didn’t reveal everything.
The assistant didn’t know about the affair between Chen Wei and Zhou Sijin and only did as the General Manager instructed.
Thinking of the General Manager’s arrangements, he only turned his head to say to Chen Wei:
“Your chance has come. You must grab it firmly later.”
Although Chen Wei was confused, he still successfully heard a bit of a “hidden rules” implication from the assistant’s words.
He wondered: did Zhou Sijin not tell the people in the company that he was the one who sent him here?
Chen Wei’s head was full of question marks, unable to figure out exactly what had gone wrong in the middle.
Until the assistant led him to a stop in front of the CEO’s office door, then opened it and said to him:
“Go in.”
Chen Wei walked woodenly into the office.

Chen Wei went to the bathroom and cleaned himself thoroughly.
After wiping off the water droplets on his body, he pulled back the blanket on the bed and lay down just like that.
Chen Wei thought: if it really was Zhou Sijin, he actually hadn’t tried the “office flavor” yet.
On the contrary, if it wasn’t Zhou Sijin…
Chen Wei’s lips curled into a slight hook.
