Can’t Escape After Online Dating with the Gloomy Yandere chapter 17

Chapter 17: I Want to See You

“I wasn’t the one drinking.”

“My friend is in a bad mood, so I came to play with him. His boyfriend came to pick him up.”

Ruan Zhimian felt that his ability to lie on the fly was becoming stronger and stronger.

He walked quickly out of the private room. When he was nervous, he became expressionless, looking exceptionally cold. He randomly pulled open another empty private room.

The waiter outside had people retreat quickly to maintain quiet.

Who had provoked this young master again? They’d better not wreck the shop.

Ruan Zhimian squatted down and spoke softly to Shi He. “Gege, do you not believe me?”

Counter-accusation.

His Mianmian was learning more and more.

The S-grade Alpha stood in a corner of the Finance Department’s activity site. His long, cold, white fingers held a newly lit cigarette. He extended and retracted his fingertips, nonchalantly tapping it on the ashtray. “Baby, of course I believe you. It’s just that I don’t have a sense of security.”

“You haven’t spoken to me for several days. I miss you very much.”

“A part of the reason I returned to the country early was you. Why won’t you meet me? Do you not like me?”

Shi He’s low voice entered his flushed ear, accompanied by obedient words, as if he were whispering intimately against him.

Ruan Zhimian’s breathing also became exceptionally scorched.

He lowered his head with a red face, his heart stopping for a moment. He forcibly suppressed it. “I don’t have time lately. I can use something else to coax you.”

He wouldn’t… break up today. He’d start being “cold” tomorrow.

Shi He smiled. “Of the dresses I bought for Mianmian, you’ve only worn one. Baby, I want to see that pink one. Is that okay?”

You’d rather wear a dress than see me.

Then wear them a few more times.

Sooner or later, he would personally put them on him.

Ruan Zhimian thought about it; he didn’t quite remember. “I’ll go back and check before I answer you.”

Shi He stubbed out the cigarette, his tone unreadable. “Is that so?”

Ruan Zhimian stood up. Teng Yu’s call came through; he was looking for him.

He was afraid Shi He would hear Teng Yu’s voice again and recognize it, so he quickly agreed. “I’ll take photos for you when I get back. I have to go get busy first.”

Without waiting for Shi He to reply, Ruan Zhimian hung up the phone directly. He pushed open the private room door and walked out. Teng Yu had been picked up, wrapped in a jacket. He leaned against the man’s chest, making a call—clearly drunk. “Mianmian, where’s our Mianmian?”

Ruan Zhimian walked up to him and grabbed Teng Yu’s arm.

“I’ll take you home.”

Teng Yu couldn’t break free. He turned his head, opened his mouth, and bit straight onto the man’s neck, not letting up on the force at all. “Ji Ye, if you don’t let go of me, I’ll bite you to death.”

The man only frowned. He reached out and caught Teng Yu’s chin.

“If you want to bite, wait until we get back.”

Teng Yu was so angry his eyes were red. “Who’s going back with you? Get lost.”

“Mianmian, call the police for me.”

Ji Ye held Teng Yu with one arm and pulled a business card from his pocket with his right hand to hand to Ruan Zhimian. “I’m from Hong Kong. Teng Yu and I have known each other for a long time.”

“Rest assured, I won’t hurt him.”

“No. If A-Yu isn’t willing, I won’t let you take him away.”

“I’m just sending him home. I won’t do anything.”

Teng Yu didn’t want to involve Ruan Zhimian. “Mianmian, you go back first. I’ll handle this.”

Just after leaving Ruan Zhimian’s sight, Teng Yu began to struggle. The more he struggled, the tighter Ji Ye held him. Finally, he directly shouldered him and left through the back door elevator.

Ruan Zhimian followed them the whole way, not feeling relieved until he saw Ji Ye truly send Teng Yu back to the apartment and drive away quickly. Then he had the driver send him back to the school.

Having not been back to school for two days, Ruan Zhimian climbed the stairs holding Qiuqiu, who had just woken up from hibernation. He opened the window for ventilation and wiped the desk clean.

Bright and clean—the weather was comfortable.

Phew.

Ruan Zhimian stood before the wardrobe and pulled out all the dresses in one go. He had worn them twice already—he was… used to it!

That’s right.

At 3:00 PM, Shi He finished the activity.

Wen Song, the student council president who had caught him to work at the last minute, approached with a grin, gossiping incessantly. “You still haven’t told me—which one is your wife?”

“Guess for yourself.”

Shi He was in the backstage area packing his things. He used a wet wipe to clean the dust from his hands, then took out a cotton swab and bandage. Facing the phone’s front camera, he wiped the dried blood crust from the hair at his temple.

The finance expert who had just finished his lecture was being surrounded by students.

Shi He hadn’t listened to a word the whole time.

Wen Song gave a cry of surprise. “Such a big wound—did you go to the hospital?”

“I didn’t.”

Wen Song took the cotton swab and chattered while disinfecting it for him. Seeing Gu Xici come over, they jointly escorted Shi He to the school clinic for a checkup.

Fortunately, there was truly no problem.

“Gu Xici, you saw it this morning. Why didn’t you take him to the hospital?”

Gu Xici crossed his arms and directly admitted fault: “Doctor, please wrap it firmly for him.”

“No need. Keep it simple.”

Wen Song’s anger instantly dissipated.

Back then, Wen Song, Gu Xici, and Shi He had gone abroad to study together. Wen Song was the oldest and considered himself the big brother, Gu Xici was in the middle, and Shi He was the youngest.

“Let’s go. My treat for dinner.”

Shi He stood up, a bandage wrapped around his forehead. He picked up the medicine bag and left decisively. “I have things to do today. I’m heading back.”

Wen Song gave an “hey,” wanting to call him.

Gu Xici grabbed Wen Song’s arm. “We all know Shi He has unresolved knots in his heart.”

“This is an opportunity now. Let him go.”

Wen Song shook off Gu Xici’s hand and snorted.

“Two different things. Stay away from me.”

At 3:30 PM, Huajiang University dormitory.

Ruan Zhimian pulled the bed curtains closed and knelt on the quilt. He lowered his head, his soft black hair sticking up. His small face was tense as he dove headfirst into the little pink dress.

It’s just… wearing it…

A little coaxing—I’m not afraid…

This one was much shorter than the white one from before, barely reaching his knees. The fabric was more exquisite and unique—light pink fabric embroidered with hibiscus flowers, the collar decorated with lace that encircled it completely.

Ruan Zhimian stepped into his little rabbit slippers and walked to the mirror.

The whole person was pink and white. His thick eyelashes were lowered, and his fingers clutched the hem of the dress. His gaze moved from his toes to his neck, then slowly looked into the mirror.

In the mirror, the little beauty was wearing a light pink dress. The craftsmanship was excellent, making his already thin waist look even better.

He lifted the hem, his two straight legs moving slowly. He quickly moved away from the mirror and dove back into the safety of the bed curtains, his eyes filled with mist as he randomly took a few photos.

He lowered his head and wrapped himself in the quilt, leaving only his head out.

“Qiuqiu, do I look very ugly?”

Even with no one in the room… a confined space felt safer.

He had this habit since a long time ago—whether in the nursing home or at home, he was always alone.

Outside, a knock suddenly sounded. Someone with a suitcase stopped at the dormitory door.

“Knock, knock, knock. Is anyone there?”

Through the door and the bed curtains, Ruan Zhimian only felt that the person’s voice was somewhat familiar.

The next second, he heard the sound of a key opening the door. He spoke out anxiously, “Who is it? You… you’re not allowed to come in…”
