It was nearly 1:00 AM when Shen Shuyu returned home.
The house was completely silent. He entered the door, locked the house up properly, and tiptoed upstairs.
At twelve o’clock, he had messaged Shen Yisi. He knew that Mother Shen and Father Shen had gone to bed not long after he left, while Shen Yisi and Yue Cheng had stubbornly stayed awake to finish watching the fireworks outside before sleeping.
