Chapter 53: The Mysterious Little White Egg An angry little egg cub was very difficult to coax. Part 1
As the hovercar moved, Yun Yingzhi stroked the little egg cub, patted it, and even kissed it. However, the little egg cub remained as if it were a “heart-of-iron” egg, completely unmoved throughout the entire journey.
Yun Yingzhi looked at Yun Yinghui anxiously.
After switching the hovercar to autopilot mode, Yun Yinghui looked at the little rabbit cub tucked inside Yun Yingzhi’s collar.
The little rabbit cub blinked its large eyes, looking entirely innocent.
Yun Yinghui said, “Jiaojiao, coax Taotao a bit, hmm?”
As if unable to understand Yun Yinghui’s words, the little rabbit cub tilted its head, looking even more innocent.
“Be good, Jiaojiao, okay?”
Initially, the little rabbit had poked its small head out, but who knew what was going on inside that tiny brain? Hearing Yun Yinghui’s words, the poking-out rabbit head retracted back inside.
Yun Yingzhi pulled the hidden rabbit cub out of his collar, placed it next to the little egg cub, and said, “Jiaojiao, you are the older brother. We still don’t know if Taotao is a boy or a girl—maybe a younger sister. You need to look after Taotao, okay?”
Yun Yingzhi’s heart was extremely conflicted.
Yesterday, he had sternly scolded the two little cubs, and today he was suffering the consequences by having to bring the rabbit cub to the competition. Tomorrow, the consequences would double—he would have to bring both cubs to the competition.

The hovercar drove all the way back to the villa.
When they had moved in yesterday, he felt the new home was very large. Coming back today, he felt once again that the new home was incredibly spacious.
Yun Yingzhi carried the two cubs out of the car and entered the villa with Yun Yinghui.
Yun Yinghui said, “In the next few days, I will hire two stewards, several gardeners, and servants to take care of you and the cubs. You won’t be so tired then.”
Yun Yingzhi froze for a moment. The first word that flashed through his mind was: Wages.
After thinking about it, he felt that currently, he should be able to afford it, right?
Yun Yingzhi looked at the two little cubs in his arms and felt that these two little things were also particularly good at “eating gold coins.” Life really was full of expenses everywhere.
Yun Yinghui looked at Yun Yingzhi, thinking of the massive sums of money his younger brother had destroyed in minutes during the livestream today, and sighed in his heart.

In the evening, the two adults ate with the two cubs.
The rabbit cub sat on the table, holding a milk bottle and drinking.
In an effort to make the egg cub happier, Yun Yingzhi specifically searched the kitchen for the most beautiful bowl, poured half a cup of milk into it, and placed the egg cub inside.
Seeing this scene, Yun Yinghui felt deeply once again that the egg cub in the bowl looked like a dish on the dining table—”Egg Soaked in Milk.” Only Yun Yingzhi could come up with such a bizarre move.
The egg cub remained motionless.
Holding his bottle, the rabbit cub looked at the egg cub, then at his own bottle, his tiny rabbit face falling into deep thought.
Yun Yingzhi pondered for a moment, then rummaged through the luggage bag again and placed two little yellow ducks, only the size of a thumb, into the bowl.
The egg cub in the bowl still didn’t move, being thoroughly “shut down.”
Yun Yingzhi was extremely worried.
Thinking that the two cubs could communicate, Yun Yingzhi looked at the rabbit cub and said, “Jiaojiao, Taotao is so sad. As the older brother, you shouldn’t just play by yourself; shouldn’t you coax Taotao?”
The rabbit cub: “Da.”
Yun Yingzhi: “Be good, why don’t you coax Taotao?”
The rabbit cub gulped down the rest of his bottle until it was empty, then approached the translucent white bowl. He hooked his two paws over the edge of the bowl, looking at the egg cub inside.
The “shut-down” egg cub still didn’t move.
Gripping the edge of the bowl, the rabbit cub lifted his two little feet and—plop—fell into the bowl.
The egg cub, who usually loved to fight with the rabbit cub, remained motionless.
With half his body soaked in milk, the rabbit cub shook his fur and looked at the egg cub. Happy little flowers had already started sprouting around him.
Yun Yingzhi: “…”
He didn’t know if it was an illusion, but he subtly felt the rabbit cub was gloating.
The rabbit cub walked a circle around the egg cub, then sat right next to him…
Yun Yingzhi: “…”
Yun Yinghui: “…”
At this moment, they sincerely hoped the rabbit cub would say “Da da da” to the egg cub. In fact, the rabbit cub was saying “Da da da,” but it was the “Da da da” of a single cub happily humming to himself.
The rabbit cub picked up one of the yellow ducks that Yun Yingzhi had given to the egg cub and started saying “Da da da” to the duck.

Yun Yingzhi was so angry.
He took a deep breath, trying to be as calm as possible as he reasoned with the rabbit cub.

Yun Yingzhi: “Jiaojiao, as the older brother, Taotao is angry, yet instead of comforting him, you’re playing with his toys. Do you think you’re doing the right thing?”
The rabbit cub, who may or may not have understood, held the two mini ducks in his paws and shook his head. “Da da.”
It was as if the rabbit cub was saying that he was wrong and shouldn’t have done that.
Yun Yingzhi: “Jiaojiao, so shouldn’t you comfort Taotao and play with him?”
The rabbit cub: “Da da.”
Yun Yingzhi waited for the rabbit cub to be more sensible this time—to not just play alone and completely ignore the egg cub.
As it turned out, the rabbit cub was just a heartless little brat. He went right back to happily playing with the two yellow ducks by himself.
Yun Yingzhi took a deep breath, gently poked the rabbit cub, and said, “Jiaojiao, Papa told you to coax Taotao!”
To prevent the rabbit cub from misunderstanding his meaning, he specifically pointed at the egg cub.
The rabbit cub blinked its large eyes, tilted its head up to look at Yun Yingzhi, and suddenly…
Gave a deep sigh.

Yun Yingzhi was momentarily speechless.
The rabbit cub dropped the two yellow ducks, looked at the egg cub, pulled a long face, and gave a half-hearted coax: “Da da.”
The egg cub continued to stay “shut down.”
The rabbit cub patted the egg cub. “Da da.”
The egg cub remained motionless, giving no reaction whatsoever.
The rabbit cub tilted his head up and looked at Yun Yingzhi. “Da da da!”
Yun Yingzhi: “…”
He subtly felt that the rabbit cub was telling him: It’s not that I’m not coaxing him; it’s that he won’t listen.
Yun Yingzhi looked at Yun Yinghui and said, “Brother, should we take Taotao to the hospital?”
