As Shen Zejue and his lackeys arrived at North Alley, they saw a group of people standing outside the alleyway, leaning against the wall and peering inside.
Lu Xiu pointed at one of the blondes and said, “Boss, isn’t that Timi and his crew? Strange, why are they all standing outside instead of going in? What are they looking at?”
Shen Zejue lifted his chin. “Let’s go take a look.”
The group swarmed over.
“Timi, didn’t we agree to a fight? What are you guys doing out here?”
Timi turned around, and upon seeing it was Shen Zejue and his group, he immediately made a shushing gesture.
“Our boss’s abusive dad is here. He called our boss inside quite a while ago. We don’t know what they’re talking about, but their voices were really loud just now. Sigh, the boss is probably going to get beaten by his dad again this time.”
Timi and the other lackeys stared nervously at the alley entrance.

Standing in the shadows, Tali’yao’s face was obscured, save for his yellow vertical pupils gleaming with a cold, eerie light in the darkness.

When Shen Lin finished school and walked out of the gates, he spotted Tali’er’s figure.
“Bingbing, over here!”
Shen Lin said goodbye to Mo Bai, who was holding his hand, and climbed into Tali’er’s flashy red aircraft.
Mo Bai reluctantly followed his little uncle onto their own family’s aircraft.
Tali’er took Shen Lin’s small backpack, placed it on the back seat, turned on the navigation, and flew onto the skyway toward their destination.
Trailing behind them were several aircraft, all bearing the Shen family crest.
“Huh, where’s Third Brother~”
“Shen Zejue went to the mall ahead to buy something. I came to pick you up first. We’ll wait for him outside later.”
“Oh~”
Shen Lin was still accustomed to speaking as little as possible. If he didn’t have to speak, he wouldn’t say a single extra word.
Tali’er smiled. “Bingbing, there are some new snacks I bought in the compartment in front of you. You can have some to fill your stomach first. After we finish eating later, we’ll go see my mother.”

Looking toward the noise, Tali’er, who had been leading the way, instantly changed his expression and sprinted over.
Before he even got close to his mother’s room, he crashed into Tali’yao.
Tali’er’s mind buzzed. Without a second thought, he grabbed Tali’yao by the collar and sternly demanded, “What did you do to my mother?!”
As soon as he spoke, a woman’s agonizing scream echoed from the room.
