Chapter 58: My Innocence is Gone
When Mu Feng woke up, the bed was already empty.
He opened his eyes to a strange room, a strange scent, and his very original, natural self.
“Holy shit.” Mu Feng sat up abruptly, frowning as he recalled last night.
He had clung to Liang Yuhang, wanted a hug, wanted to sleep… he had been hit… and then?
He looked down again to inspect himself. He found no signs of anything unusual, only a teeth mark on his shoulder that hadn’t faded yet.
Who did that? Liang Yuhang?
Under what circumstances would such a mark be left?
Mu Feng sucked in a breath of cold air and said to himself, “Could it be that we had drunken sex and ‘played for real’? How come I have no memory of it at all?”
He reached out to grab his messy suit and pulled out his phone to send a message to Liang Yuhang.
[M]: Why did you leave so early? [Teacher Liang]: I have a meeting this morning.
He sounded very calm. As expected of someone five years older—he was composed.
[M]: About last night… [Teacher Liang]: Evidence of your crimes.
It was a segment of video. He was tied up firmly, rolling around beside the man, insisting on sleeping with him.
Mu Feng: “…”
His face was completely lost. The most terrifying thing is when someone helps you remember.
[M]: Are there any other videos? [Teacher Liang]: ? [Teacher Liang]: I don’t have a hobby of recording people naked. [M]: …Was I the one who took the initiative? [Teacher Liang]: Who else?
Mu Feng reached out to grab his messy hair. “It’s over. I actually despoiled Teacher Liang like that. I’m not human.”
As a cold Alpha, the other man couldn’t possibly cry and complain like an Omega; he could only swallow the bitterness.
The more Mu Feng thought about it, the more he felt he had been too ridiculous. He didn’t know if he had said anything outrageous, and the more he thought, the more anxious he became.
He grabbed his wrinkled clothes—they clearly couldn’t be worn—so he opened the wardrobe to search.
Since it was a new home, Liang Yuhang didn’t have many things either. He picked out a shirt and trousers and managed to put them on.
After washing up, he hurried back to the base.
“Teacher Liang, I was wrong last night.” Mu Feng started apologizing as soon as he pushed the door open. Then, he looked up to see a room full of people.
Mu Feng: “…”
Can I just jump out the window and die?
“Doctor Liang’s wife is here.” Someone teased. “I was wondering, why go to work right after getting engaged? The young couple didn’t want to linger; he’s already come looking for him.”
0717 was crouching in a corner, covering its mouth and laughing, its mechanical parts rattling with the movement.
Liang Yuhang couldn’t resist giving it a kick. He looked up and discovered Mu Feng was wearing his shirt.
The size was clearly not a good fit—it was loose and baggy. If the collar were pulled down a bit further, the teeth mark left yesterday would likely be visible.
Liang Yuhang coughed lightly, playing the part of a considerate husband. “Why did you come over? You should have slept a bit longer.”
“I…” Mu Feng’s toes curled in his shoes. He couldn’t leave, but he couldn’t stay either. “Maybe I should wait for you to finish your meeting first.”
“We’re finished, we’re finished.” The person who had been teasing him just now stood up. “Let’s go, let’s go. Don’t disturb their sweetness.”
A group of people in white coats stood up with grins. As they passed Mu Feng, they all took a few extra looks; their gossipy gazes practically used him as a target.
Mu Feng raised his hands and covered his face in agony. “I don’t want to live anymore.”
“How did you run over here dressed like that?” Liang Yuhang also felt like laughing a bit. “You didn’t even go back to the dorm to change.”
0717 was still laughing in the corner, its mechanical head almost falling off.
“Stop laughing.” Mu Feng suppressed the urge to give it a kick too. “Go to the dorm and help me bring a change of clothes.”
“As you wish, Boss’s Wife.” 0717 said mischievously as it backed away, still laughing. “Wearing your fiancé’s clothes, how sweet! Hehehe.”
Mu Feng’s face was wood-like; he couldn’t laugh.
Liang Yuhang sat in the swivel chair and looked up at him. “What? Did you recall how ‘unscrupulous’ you were last night and come to prostrate yourself in apology?”
Mu Feng stood straight instantly and gave a ninety-degree bow. “I was wrong. I won’t do it again. In the future, I will strictly observe the boundaries between us.”
Looking at that devout appearance, Liang Yuhang said calmly, “Are you at a funeral for me?”
“No, just guilt.” Mu Feng pulled out a piece of white paper and handed it over, not daring to look up. “The Three-Point Agreement. I’ve already signed it.”
Liang Yuhang reached out to take it and looked at the title: Engagement Agreement Matters Between Liang Yuhang & Mu Feng.
- Without permission, never step into the other’s private space (even when drunk), otherwise, do a handstand while washing hair.
- Both parties remain completely independent and free. If there is a liked partner and one wishes to dissolve the engagement, the engagement will be voided.
- Fully cooperate on occasions required by the other, and ensure a perfect external image for both parties (specifically Mu Feng cooperating with Liang Yuhang; Teacher Liang is doing great!).
- No forcible demands for sexual relations (specifically Mu Feng, who often acts crazy and can’t distinguish right from wrong).
- …
Liang Yuhang didn’t bother looking further down. His finger tapped the white paper. “Why does this look less like a Three-Point Agreement and more like your self-reflection report?”
Mu Feng pressed his lips together. “Pretty much. It’s mainly that I did a poor job, and I’m currently reflecting on myself.”
With that obedient, “punishment-standing” look, he was a completely different person from the spoiled brat of last night.
Liang Yuhang reached out and tore the paper, throwing it casually into the trash can. “No need.”
“You being like this makes me feel even more guilty.” Mu Feng was certain that Liang Yuhang hadn’t taken advantage of him. After all, in that situation, he had actually managed to resist marking him.
Simply a peerless Alpha.
Mu Feng crouched down, leaning beside his desk. His two hands rested on the desk like cat paws. “I really know I was wrong.”
Liang Yuhang said wordlessly, “It wasn’t that serious.”
“It’s very serious. We don’t have feelings for each other, yet I took away your precious first time.” Mu Feng’s face grew redder as he spoke. “I’m sorry. I’ll never drink again.”
Liang Yuhang: ?
He suddenly realized there was a discrepancy in information between the two of them. He said seriously, “What do you think happened last night?”
“Happened… ah.” Mu Feng looked bewildered. “The teeth mark on my body is still there.”
Liang Yuhang was speechless, truly admiring the boy’s ability to fill in the blanks.
He raised an eyebrow slightly. “You think my self-control is that poor?”
Mu Feng blinked blankly. Indeed, even when the reagent had caused a hormonal imbalance before, this man had just smoked a cigarette and started reviewing his experimental report, very calm.
Mu Feng became a bit uncertain and said softly, “Then it couldn’t have been me biting myself. My neck isn’t that long, and I can’t reach my shoulder.”
Liang Yuhang closed his eyes and admitted, “I did that.”
Mu Feng’s throat bobbed as he observed the other’s expression. “Then… if nothing happened, why did you leave a teeth mark?”
The matter had been a whim to begin with; explaining it now, there was no way to explain.
Liang Yuhang hadn’t expected the boy to be so persistent. He said candidly, “Because you were lying in my arms like that. I wanted to mark you. It’s an Alpha’s instinct; you can understand that, right?”
Mu Feng was stunned. He hadn’t expected this answer.
Liang Yuhang actually had the urge to mark someone else?
God, what exactly did I do yesterday to trigger such a hidden surprise? Think, stupid brain, think!
Wait, that’s not right. Two Alphas can’t be marked. If Liang Yuhang finds out, will he be very disappointed?
He moved his lips. “Then why didn’t you mark me in the end? Did you… find me undesirable?”
“No.” Liang Yuhang really wanted to knock on his brain to see what was inside.
After thinking for a moment, he still decided to teach him: “I felt it wasn’t appropriate. You aren’t my Omega. Marking is something only intimate partners can do. Don’t let just anyone mark you.”
Mu Feng grew even sadder and nodded. “Okay. I understand.”
“What do you understand?” Liang Yuhang furrowed his brows, feeling that the boy might be thinking wild thoughts again.
He felt that if the boy had a tail, it would be drooping dejectedly on the floor right now.
Mu Feng looked up at him. “Because you find me undesirable.”
Liang Yuhang: “…”
He reached out and grabbed the boy from the floor, pinning him against the desk. Mu Feng was so startled he couldn’t move, his hands raised to firmly protect the back of his neck.
This was too terrifying. If an Alpha forcibly marked him, they would definitely get into a fight.
“Wait, wait, wait! I was talking nonsense.” Seeing that stance, Mu Feng decisively chickened out. “It’s a misunderstanding. I don’t find you undesirable, I don’t.”
Seeing that fearful appearance, Liang Yuhang felt like laughing a bit. “Scared now?”
Mu Feng reached out to unbutton his shirt. He was only afraid that Liang Yuhang would find out he couldn’t be marked. If he were an Omega, he would already be lying flat and letting the man do as he pleased.
He briskly pulled down the shirt, revealing the smooth shoulder on the other side. “No, I’m just a bit afraid that the marking will hurt.”
“Put your clothes on.” Liang Yuhang really didn’t understand what the boy had been doing in his biology classes. “Get out.”
Mu Feng turned his head with an innocent look, coaxing him, “If you really want to mark me, bite a symmetrical one to satisfy your craving.”
