Tonight I Become My Male God’s Kitten—Lick Him! chapter 66

Chapter 66: Hard to Coax

When 0717 pushed the door open early the next morning, this was the scene it encountered.

Mu Feng was curled up in Liang Yuhang’s embrace, and there was a chain around his neck. The skin on his neck was slightly flushed.

[So ambitious! Lord 0717 has captured a masterpiece of a photo!]

0717 leaned in to take a series of photos from every angle.

[One look at this and you can tell what happened last night. Aiyah, my little face is turning red.]

Mumu followed to join in the fun. It made a sudden leap onto the bed, landing directly on Liang Yuhang.

[Stupid cat! Do you want to die!!]

0717 tried to stop it, but it was too late. It watched as its boss opened his eyes and locked gazes with it.

0717 shuddered.

[Ahem, keep sleeping. Don’t mind us.]

“You’re so noisy.”

Liang Yuhang turned his head and realized that Mu Feng had somehow ended up in his arms, with his arm wrapped firmly around his waist.

Absolutely no touching? Mu Feng’s words were only ten percent reliable.

Liang Yuhang looked at 0717. “Tell Lu Zhuo that I’m taking Mu Feng to the Sector. He should handle the arrangements.”

[Who goes on a honeymoon in a war zone?]

0717 desperately wanted to complain about his lack of romance.

[What about that ten-day romantic planetary island tour I showed you before?]

“No time.”

Liang Yuhang chased it away. “Take the cat and get out.”

0717 reached out with its claws to scoop up Mumu and turned to run.

The commotion was a bit much, and Mu Feng opened his eyes blearily. His vision slowly cleared as his memories returned.

He had been tied here by Liang Yuhang and had shared a bed with him for the entire night.

“Good morning, Professor Liang.” Mu Feng offered a wide smile. “Did you sleep well?”

“Not particularly.”

Liang Yuhang looked down. “Your sleeping posture is terrible.”

Mu Feng explained, “It’s because I usually have a pile of pillows. I probably mistook you for a pillow in my sleep.”

A 1.9-meter tall pillow. It felt so good to touch—I mean, to hug.

Liang Yuhang’s hand rested on the back of his neck. “A pillow, huh?”

Professor Liang looked so cold and abstinent, yet his way of touching people was so provocative. Mu Feng felt a numbness travel all the way down to his tailbone.

“I was wrong. I’ll definitely be careful next time.”

Mu Feng tried to back away, only to remember the chain. He was stopped after moving just an inch. “Can you take this off now?”

“Didn’t you say you liked it yesterday?” Liang Yuhang asked.

Mu Feng blinked slowly. “Just because I like it doesn’t mean I want to stay here forever waiting for you to come back, right?”

Liang Yuhang looked into those eyes, and the whim that had struck him last night surfaced again.

Raising another cat… like Mu Feng?

Liang Yuhang reached out to unfasten it. He carefully checked the choker to make sure the skin wasn’t chafed before asking, “Then what would you become?”

“I’d become your bed…”

Mu Feng swallowed hard and whispered, “…pet.”

Liang Yuhang gave his face a very light swat. “What are you thinking? Get up. Pack your things; we leave this afternoon.”

“So fast.”

Mu Feng snapped wide awake. “Just us? What about the other students?”

“I suspect that if Lu Zhuo hears you’re going, he’ll bring Xiao Jiang along.”

Liang Yuhang had already predicted the outcome.

“As for the other students, I wouldn’t know.”

Mu Feng scrambled out of bed, filled with the excitement of traveling with Liang Yuhang. “I’m going back to the dorm to pack.”

He straightened his messy clothes a bit before heading downstairs. As soon as he entered the dorm, he heard Jiang Yu’an wailing.

“Who wants to go to the Sector! We were supposed to go back to school after the break!”

Jiang Yu’an was shaking the bed rail.

“So annoying, so annoying, so annoying! Save me, save me, save me!”

Zhou Tiantian looked envious. “I want to go. Liang Jingyi said he found me an eyesore, but he gave me a very expensive laptop last night. I guess he’s not that bad.”

“Be careful you don’t get slaughtered like a pig.”

Jiang Yu’an reminded him. “When a bad person does something good, they’ve definitely got an ulterior motive.”

Mu Feng walked over and hooked an arm around Jiang Yu’an’s shoulder. “Sanctioned by Brother Lu Zhuo again? How piteous.”

“He wasn’t even going to take me.”

Jiang Yu’an looked miserable.

“Then he heard Liang Yuhang was taking you, and he changed his mind instantly. How can Liang Yuhang dare to take you to the Sector after your experiment backfired last night?”

“I want to go,” Mu Feng said. “I asked to go.”

Asking to go to a post-war zone? Is that something a human would say?

Jiang Yu’an looked him up and down as if seeing him for the first time. “You were pretending before, weren’t you? About the bad grades.”

“Ah, you found out.”

Mu Feng felt much more confident now. He said lightly, “I just controlled my score once in a while.”

Jiang Yu’an: “……”

Fine, fine. I knew there was no such thing as a one-month miracle for improving grades.

Controlling his score once in a while? Is that human language?

He kept a wooden face. “So the method of soaking in the bathtub to memorize books was fake too?”

“Of course.” Mu Feng arched an eyebrow. “You actually did it?”

“For two nights.”

Jiang Yu’an felt like dying.

“No wonder my brother was laughing like that while he was filling the tub! You were all laughing at me! And I was the biggest joke of all!”

Mu Feng thought of Liang Yuhang describing him as an exploding dog and couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

“You’re still laughing!!”

Jiang Yu’an frowned. “You’ve spent too much time with Liang Yuhang; you’re becoming more and more wicked.”

“Alright, let’s go together. I’ll take good care of you and make up for my previous mistakes.”

Mu Feng reached out and gave him a shake.

Zhou Tiantian watched them with wide eyes. “I’m so envious. Can you take me with you? I can eat less; I’ll bring my own lunch box.”

He truly loved studying. Whenever Mu Feng wasn’t in the dorm, Zhou Tiantian was reading.

A child from a poor family—studying was the only way out.

Mu Feng’s heart softened. “Let me ask for you? But I’m not sure if it’ll work.”

Zhou Tiantian blinked and said piteously, “It’s okay. Just the fact that you’re willing to ask makes me very happy.”

Mu Feng looked down and sent a message to Liang Yuhang.

[Mu Feng: Can we take Zhou Tiantian along too? He ranked fifth in practicals; his level is pretty good.]

[Liang Yuhang: That depends on his Junior Mentor. Other students are going, too. If the Junior Mentor is willing to be responsible, then it’s fine.]

[Mu Feng: Rely on Liang Jingyi??? His heart is black to the core.]

The other side didn’t reply for a few minutes; he was likely in negotiations. After a while, Liang Yuhang replied.

[Liang Yuhang: Take him.]

Mu Feng looked up and announced the good news. “Professor Liang said you can come along.”

Zhou Tiantian immediately gave him a thumbs up.

“I officially declare myself a shipper for you and Liang Yuhang! I wish you a long and happy life together, may you grow old together and drown in the river of love!”

“Stop, stop! How did you become a shipper so fast? Are your allegiances that easy to flip?”

Jiang Yu’an clutched his head.

“Even though he finally acted like a human being for once, he’s still under strict observation.”

“What is there to observe? We aren’t actually together.”

Mu Feng smiled as he pulled out his suitcase and started packing his clothes.

He didn’t have many clothes; most of the space was filled with reagents. He packed a full suitcase.

When they gathered that afternoon, they realized quite a few people were going. Professor Zhang Luyan was leading the student team; they were on a separate transport from the officers.

“Mu Feng.”

Liang Yuhang called his name. “Come with us.”

Mu Feng, who had already started heading toward the student group with his suitcase, stopped in his tracks. “Is that okay?”

Lu Zhuo spoke up in a flat tone, “Being engaged is different, after all. He’s bringing his ‘wife’ openly. I’m not even being that blatant with Xiao Jiang.”

The other officers laughed and said, “Exactly. He can’t bear to be apart for even a second.”

Mu Feng usually felt quite thick-skinned when he was flirting, but now he felt a bit embarrassed.

His fingers touched the handle of his suitcase, and his stance grew more firm. “Forget it. It wouldn’t look good for the others.”

He couldn’t do anything that would affect Professor Liang’s reputation. He had to maintain the man’s perfect image.

Liang Yuhang gave him a cool glance.

Who was the one begging to be taken along? And now he’s starting to draw lines.

He nodded coldly. “Fine. As you wish.”

Mu Feng sensed the change in the man’s mood and felt caught in a dilemma. “Mhm. The flight isn’t particularly long anyway. We’ll meet up when we arrive.”

“Fine. Got it.”

Liang Yuhang reached out to adjust his military cap. The brim was pulled low, revealing only his slightly tightened lips.

Zhang Luyan was already calling from the other side, “What are you standing there for, Mu Feng? You’re the last one.”

Mu Feng had no choice but to turn around. He dragged his suitcase toward the other transport. As he boarded, he looked through the cabin window and saw Liang Yuhang still wearing that ‘dead face’.

He was angry. He was definitely angry.

It was likely the kind of anger that couldn’t be coaxed away even after an eighteen-hour flight.

Liang Yuhang boarded with practiced ease. He sat by the window and looked down at the medical reports from the Sector.

Lu Zhuo strolled over and sat down beside him, adopting a relaxed posture. “How does it feel to be rejected? To think you’d see this day.”

Liang Yuhang didn’t even look up. He replied indifferently, “At least it’s better than knowing someone for over a decade and still only being an ‘older brother’. Right, lonely old man?”
